Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Blaine Warren. I am a 17 year old junior at Sylvania High School in Sylvania, Alabama. Like most athletes you speak to, I love playing football. I have played since my second grade year in elementary school, and hope to continue into my college career. Football has meant more to me than just a hobby or a place to go hang out with friends after school each day. It, along with the values, morals, and determination my parents began years ago instilling in me have helped me prepare for life ahead and the work that I know will come with each passing day.
I plan to major in Sports Management after graduation. I hope to get involved with equipment development and research to help other athletes be safe and protected while getting to do what they love. It would be an honor, a blessing, and a dream come true for me to get to further my football career while receiving a top notch education.
I am a devoted Christian, and have been since I was 10 years old. I believe that whatever you do, you give it your all if you plan to reap the benefits. I believe that there is no substitution for hard work, truth, and loyalty. My entire life I have been taught the values, work ethic, and determination that I believe will make me a success not only on the field, but in the classroom as well.
