Billy Capshaw and other Jeffrey Dahmer victims shared graphic details of their interactions with him on Dr. Phil, claiming that Netflix misrepresented the cold-blooded killer in their series.
Dr. Phil McGraw interviewed several victims of the Milwaukee serial killer for his three-day series on Dahmer and his victims.
Dr. Phil featured Rita Isbell, Billy Capshaw, and Preston Davis about their encounters with Dahmer. The episode was quite moving.
Billy Capshaw and Preston Davis, two men who claimed to have known Jeffrey Dahmer while he was in the army service, were profiled by McGraw.
McGraw reports that the guys said Dahmer had s*xually assaulted and tormented them but that the military had covered up the violence.
What Happened With Billy?
When Billy Joe Capshaw first met his roommate Jeffrey Dahmer, he was 17 years old.
Billy believes that the notorious serial killer tortured, s*xually r*ped, and manipulated him for 18 months.
According to Survivingjeffreydahmer.org, Billy frequently raised concerns about Jeffrey’s abuse of persons in positions of authority, but they frequently disregarded them.
According to him, Jeffrey struck his knuckles and shins with an iron bar. Billy claimed that since only Jeffrey had a key, he was frequently confined in their room and that Jeffrey purposely ignored his family’s mail and phone calls.
Billy reports that circumstances deteriorated to the point that his status was changed to AWOL (absent without leave) even though he had not left the base.
According to him, ‘It was Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.’ ‘I would steal Jeff’s money in the belief that if he didn’t have any money, he wouldn’t drink as much and wouldn’t hurt me as much. He beat me so terribly for doing this, and to stop me from screaming, he punched me harder.’ He further revealed.
Tragically, Capshaw asserted that Dahmer may have been responsible for up to 7 further fatalities during his Army service in Baumholder, Germany, for which he was never held accountable.
Capshaw stated in an interview, ‘I’ll never get over it. During the 18 months that we were in the Army in Germany, Dahmer put me through utter hell. In the same unit, both of us worked as medics. In 1980, I was made to share a barracks room with Dahmer, and within two or three days after I arrived, the first assaults started.’
He continued, ‘Dahmer enjoyed orange vodka or vodka and tonic and he drank pretty much all the time. I’m sure it was drugged because he would make me drink it as well. I was in pain when I woke up, and I was aware that I had been beaten. But he would beat me once again if I mentioned it. In the following 18 months, Jeffrey Dahmer sexually assaulted me at least 75 times!’
