Personal Statement
My name is Anthony Moran, and I am a senior at Valencia High School in Placentia, CA. I am a 5'7 Punter, RB, and LB, however I am more than capable of playing any position needed. I have a 3.48 total weighted GPA and scored a 1210 on the SAT. Playing football in college is a goal I aspire to achieve. Failure to me, is not an option. As a three year varsity player, as well as an extensive background in various sports (including soccer, basketball, baseball, and dance), I have learned what it takes to become an effective leader and team player. As a kid, through my hard work in dancing, I appeared as a guest performer on Dancing With The Stars. This hard work carried on to the football field, where I earned an MVP award as a Senior for the Varsity team in my last season.
As for my goals, I am committed to working hard to earn my spot on any team that offers a spot on their roster. I would like to go to a school with a great atmosphere where I can find a balance between the classes and the football field. Academics are the most important for my future, and I strive to get the highest education possible in the future major of my choice. I take all opportunities and strive under pressure. I am open to different types of schools, however I would prefer a school with competitive academics, as well as an atmosphere in which I can grow spiritually and impact as many lives as possible.
