Personal Statement
My main goal in volleyball is to be one of the best Liberos in the country and continue to grow as a player. Academically, I reach extremely high and work extremely hard to balance out sports with a heavy workload due to taking many AP/IB classes. I am currently ranked 2nd in my class, and I hope to graduate top 5. Some of my attributes include dedication, hard work, being great at teamwork, and having the mentality of a champion. I put all of my effort into this sport in hopes that I will be recognized by a coach to play volleyball at a collegiate level. I believe that I differ from most other recruits in the aspect that I am involved in so many other activities that have truly shaped me into the person I am today. I am involved in 2 different leadership programs, I made the decision to take part in the full IB Diploma Programme, I am currently the team manager for the girl's varsity volleyball team, and so much more. I always set goals for myself, both during practice and in games, to push myself even further. If my team does not come out with the win, I will still have the satisfaction of knowing that I did my best to contribute and that I have accomplished my goal. If I do not accomplish my goal during a game, I push myself even harder during practice, if not to achieve, then to come closer to achieving my goal.
