Andre Agassi has made a startling revelation that has made us all thankful that slow-motion and high-definition technology didn't advance too far before his retirement in 2006.
In an interview for Unscriptd, the eight-time Grand Slam winner revealed that a wardrobe mix-up that saw him go without underwear for a French Open match in 1999 provoked a rather strange superstition:
Unscriptd @UnscriptdAndre Agassi shares a very odd superstition he held throughout his career - playing without underwear.
The American insisted that from that point on, every game he played until retirement was also done commando.
The 45-year-old perhaps took his honesty a little too far, though, by declaring "I'm actually not wearing underwear now."
