Arsenal confirmed Sanchez's second-half introduction against Chelsea, replacing Joel Campbell at the Emirates Stadium.

Sanchez a Major Cog in Gunners' Attack

The loss of Sanchez has been a significant restriction for Arsenal. He made a slow start to the 2015-16 Premier League season but has netted six goals in 12 Premier League starts, per WhoScored.com.

While Arsenal have bags of talent in their attacking ranks, Sanchez is a player who—alongside playmaker Mesut Ozil—makes the Gunners tick.

Arsene Wenger has utilised plenty of alternative options in the likes of Olivier Giroud, Campbell and Theo Walcott in Sanchez's absence. Campbell, in particular, has done a fine job in recent weeks from wide.

However, despite the Gunners' depth in attack, Wenger will be delighted to see Sanchez return, as he is all but irreplaceable as a creator and goalscorer.
