TEMPO.CO, London - Keane, a British alternative rock band decided to disband after spending 16 years of its musical. The Sun reported that the band's members are set to focus on their private projects.
Keane had released four albums until today, each of which has managed to sit at the number one position on various music charts. MTV cited that Keane had planned to end their career while they were on top of the board and later spend their time with their family.
Keane's frontman Tom Chaplin is said to pursue a solo-career while Tim Rice-Oxley, the band's songwriter, will be working together with Kylie Minogue and Gwen Stefani. Keane will officialy announced their dismissal after the launching of their newest album The Best of Keane on November 11.
