I just thought it would be interesting to see the history of Yankees ownership. I think we can all agree that George M. Steinbrenner III was the most successful. Under “The Boss”, the Yankees Yankees have won 10 pennants and six World Series titles. He turned the team into an empire. He bought the team for $10 million back in 1973, and they team is now worth $1.3 billion dollars.
