October has started and is set to deliver more memorable moments for K-pop fans. The Korean Business Research Institute has officially announced its second brand reputation rankings in K-pop, which now involves fourth-gen rookie groups.
According to the list, big data was collected from September 3 to October 3. The rookie idol groups who were included were the ones who made their debut in 2022 or later.
Here are the 10 most popular fourth-gen rookie K-pop groups in October 2023!
1. NewJeans
In first place, NewJeans secured their reign with a brand reputation index of 4,367,463. The quintet also received 90.87 percent positive reactions for their positivity-negativity analysis.
They also gained attention for collaborating with Riot Games for collab track "GODS," which will be the anthem for "Worlds 2023" of League of Legends.
2. LE SSERAFIM
LE SSERAFIM made it to second place with a brand reputation index of 1,389,556. The girl group didn't just make buzz collectively, but also earned everyone's interest through their solo updates and activities.
3. ZEROBASEONE
Project boy group ZEROBASEONE followed close on the No. 3 spot with a brand reputation index of 1,328,695.
4. BOYNEXTDOOR
BOYNEXTDOOR managed to rake in the No. 4 with a brand reputation index of 991,335. This inclusion was due to the group's attainment of an overwhelming 215.03 percent score rise.
5. H1-KEY
In fifth place, H1-KEY completed the top five with a brand reputation index of 857,396.
6. RIIZE
For October, SM Entertainment's newest boy group RIIZE claimed sixth place with a brand reputation index of 822,425.
7. PLAVE
Virtual idol group PLAVE secured seventh place after gaining a brand reputation index of 800,192.
8. EVNNE
EVNNE followed on the No. 8 spot with a brand reputation index of 636,019.
9. NMIXX
On the No. 9 position, NMIXX managed to join the top 10 with a brand reputation index of 561,757. The girl group has also been active in their appearances, events, and social media updates.
10. FANTASY BOYS
Lastly, on No. 10, FANTASY BOYS rounded the top 10 with a brand reputation index of 402,445.
